CNC OPERATOR

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
• Technical or vocational training in CNC machining, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing technology (preferred)

EXPERIENCE

• Entry-level: 0–2 years (training often provided).
• Skilled positions: 2–5 years of experience operating CNC machines such as lathes, milling, or grinding machines.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code / M-code).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Understanding of machine setup, calibration, and tool changes.
• Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Basic knowledge of CNC control software
